QUIK KOOL MEDICINE INDICATION:

Quik Kool Gel is used in the treatment of mouth ulcers.

QUIK KOOL GEL INGREDIENTS:
  • Choline Salicylate
  • benzalkonium chloride.
  • Lignocaine Hydrochloride Gel
  • QUIK KOOL USES:

    CHOLINE SALICYLATE:

    Choline Salicylate is the choline salt of salicylic acid, used as an analgesic, antipyretic and antirheumatic. It relieves mild to moderate pain and reduce fever and inflammation or swelling.Choline salicylate is used to relieve pain, swelling, and discomfort associated with mouth ulcers. It is also used for relieving teething pain and pressure pain caused due to dentures.

    LIGNOCAINE HYDROCHLORIDE:

    Lignocaine acts on the nerve endings and relieves from the pain while our scientifically developed base helps in providing coolness.

    BENZALKONIUM CHLORIDE:

    Benzalkonium Chloride and Compound Benzoin Tincture, which belong to a group of medicines called antiseptics that kill bacteria. It can be used to help relieve the pain of mouth ulcers and soothe sore gums.

    MOUTH ULCERS:

    Mouth ulcers are breaks in the tissue lining of your mouth, often along the base of the gums or inside the cheeks or lips, but can form in the floor of the mouth or on the tongue.

    AVOID THESE TYPES OF FOOD:
  • do not eat very spicy, salty or acidic food
  • do not eat rough, crunchy food, such as toast or crisps
  • do not drink very hot or acidic drinks, such as fruit juice
  • do not use chewing gum
  • do not use toothpaste containing sodium lauryl sulphate
  • CAUSES OF MOUTH ULCER:

    accidentally biting the inside of your cheek or a sharp tooth

    poorly fitting dentures

    hard food

    a defective filling

    stress and anxiety

    hormonal changes – some women develop mouth ulcers during their monthly period

    Vitamin Deficiencies: A deficiency of vitamins such as B-12, iron, folate or zinc could also be a cause of mouth ulcers.

    stopping smoking – when you first stop smoking, you may develop mouth ulcers

    Infections: Bacterial, viral or fungal infections may cause mouth ulcers.

    QUIK KOOL 10G GEL DOSAGE:

    This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
