Photoban Skin Lotion is used for Photodamage to skin, Skin protection against uv rays, Sunburn, Uv rays protection, Dry skin and other conditions.

Octocrylene 3 %W/W

Octyl methoxycinnamate 7.5 %W/W

PHOTOBAN MODE OF ACTION:

AVOBENZONE:

Avobenzone is used in sunscreen due to its broad-range UV protection and ability to block UVA and UVB wavelengths, thereby limiting the impact of UV rays on skin.

OCTOCRYLENE:

Octocrylene chemical has the ability to neutralize the UV rays from the sun and lessen the damage that is caused to the skin by over exposure to sunlight.

OCTYL METHOXYCINNAMATE:

Octyl Methoxycinnamate is an organic ester used in sunscreens (and lip balms) formed from methoxycinnamic acid and 2-ethylhexanol . It is a sun blocking agent that absorbs UVB rays, but not UVA rays. It is also used to reduce to appearance of scars .

OXYBENZONE:

Oxybenzone is a benzophenone derivative used as a sunscreen agent. Oxybenzone absorbs UVB and UVA II rays, resulting in a photochemical excitation and absorption of energy. It also decreased skin penetration of radiation which reduces the risk of DNA damage.

ZINC OXIDE:

Zinc oxide is a topical skin product that is used as a protective coating for mild skin irritations and abrasions. It can promote the healing of chapped skin and diaper rash. Zinc oxide works as a mild astringent and has some antiseptic properties.

UV RAYS
